Fantastic documentary work here. The way Moe transitioned from those massive 40-piece Moe!kestra! projects to the surgical tightness of Surplus 1980 is wild to think about. Saw a similar thing with a local group that scaled down from 15 to 4, and the discipline required actualy gets more intense. That Talking Heads/Devo comparison is spot-on btw.
